Intu's site hero.

A collective of photographers needed a bespoke medium to share their stories. I designed an experience that puts photography front and center, but also allows for displaying text in a non-intrusive way.

The challenge was to create a design that stayed out of the way. Every UI element that was included had to have a purpose, like the up and down arrows that scrolled to the next photograph for you and perfectly centered it in the screen. I also designed a system of icons that indicated when there was more content about the picture, without cluttering the interface. In these spaces is where I included the secondary elements.

I prioritized the pictures, but also considered ways for displaying text, audio, and videos.
