Wrangr

To anchor the identity of an open-source engineering squad, I visualized and illustrated “WRANGR" as a custom character inspired by the archetype of a rugged Forest Ranger.

The design serves as a playful metaphor for the team's daily operations: navigating deep codebase wilderness, wrangling chaotic technical environments, and keeping the ecosystem healthy.

Through a collaborative, iterative design process, we fine-tuned the character's expression and traits until it perfectly captured the squad's culture.

The final vector asset was enthusiastically adopted, scaling seamlessly from their GitHub footprint into physical team culture via custom merchandise and laptop stickers.
